How's it work?
Currently the SAFE app is available for private download. That means that shelters are in control of who can download the app, sending a secure link. We recommend setting up in person with the individual initially. This ensures complete control over who has the app and the integrity of the security of the app.
App Users
Users will be given directions by shelter staff on how to unlock the generic app to access the SAFE app. The user will see a tutorial the first time they log into the app, They will be directed to set up a trusted contact and how to trigger panic alerts, log incidents, and store secure information about themselves, children, and their abuser.
Shelter Users
With a secure admin dashboard, you can add app users, staff members, monitor incoming messages and panic alerts, view incident logs, and important information about the abuser, and documents.
